Just over a decade ago, my wife and I closed on our first home. We were nervous and had every right to be. Owning a home determines your community, your children’s education, and your financial future.

The equity we built in our home allowed us to confidently start a family, relocate to Austin, Texas, and pursue new careers.

Before founding Couch Home Loans, I served as a teacher and middle school principal. Education remains at the heart of our approach: helping families understand their options and feel confident about homeownership.

Today, I focus on leading Couch Home Loans as owner and operator. Our lending team, led by Lance Berg and including loan officers Adam Martin and Alex Smythe, brings the expertise and experience to guide clients through the mortgage process.

My goal through Couch Home Loans is to educate and empower families to own a home that fits their needs and lives up to their dreams.
