In 1991, I embarked on my mortgage career with a large financial institution in North Georgia, serving as Vice President of Construction Lending and Retail Mortgage Loan Production. Years later, I joined another prominent institution as Group Vice President of Mortgage Lending, where I had the opportunity to establish their mortgage lending and construction department. By 2008, I took on the role of EVP of Sales for Georgia’s largest independent mortgage company, overseeing over two billion dollars in retail mortgage closings annually and managing a team of 250 employees. Personally, I’ve originated over 9,000 retail loans while managing upwards of 10,000 loan closings each year.

In March 2023, I launched Couch Home Loans, powered by Barrett Financial, a top-tier mortgage lending company processing over four billion dollars annually.
