SMS Terms & Opt-In Consent

1. Program Overview

Couch Home Loans operates an SMS communication program to support clients through the mortgage loan process. By opting in, you agree to receive text messages from Couch Home Loans related to your loan inquiry or active loan file.

2. Types of Messages You May Receive

  • Loan application and status updates
  • Appointment confirmations and reminders
  • Document request reminders with links to our secure borrower portal
  • Responses to questions you send us

We do not send marketing or promotional text messages through this program.

3. How to Opt In

You can opt in to receive SMS messages from Couch Home Loans by:

  • Checking the SMS consent box on any form on www.couchhomeloans.com, or
  • Providing verbal or written consent during a loan consultation.
Sample opt-in consent language: "By providing my phone number and checking this box, I agree to receive text messages from Couch Home Loans regarding my loan inquiry and application. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of service."

Message frequency varies based on the stage of your loan and your individual communication needs. You may receive anywhere from a few messages per month to several messages per week during active stages of your loan.

Message and data rates may apply. Couch Home Loans does not charge for SMS messages, but your mobile carrier may charge standard messaging rates according to your plan.

6. How to Opt Out (STOP)

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Reply STOP to any message you receive from us, and you will be unsubscribed immediately. You will receive a final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, after which you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending messages to you again.

The SMS program is available on major U.S. carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon Wireless, Sprint, U.S. Cellular, Boost Mobile, MetroPCS, Virgin Mobile, Cricket, and others. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
